KT 011 Small Thermostats are available in two color‑coded configurations (red for normally closed, blue for normally open) with several setting range options. The normally closed (NC) thermostat provides a normally closed contact (red dial ‑ opens on temperature rise) for regulating heaters or for switching signal devices when temperature has fallen below the minimum value. The normally open (NO) version provides a normally open contact (blue dial ‑ closes on temperature rise) for regulating filter fans, heat exchangers, cooling devices or for switching signal devices when temperature limit has been exceeded.
