In 2016 they had 40 subscribers. By the end of 2018, that figure had risen to 10,000. And has now surpassed 20,000. Along with the increase in customers, revenue has increased from $400,000 to $4.8 million between 2017 and 2020.
According to McKinsey, the subscription box business is worth $15 billion.
SUBTA estimates that there are 18.5 million subscription box consumers in the United States alone. And 35% of these purchasers have three or more current subscriptions.
